Local SEO
The work that puts you in front of people searching for what you do in Dunnellon, Ocala and the towns around them.
Local search is a different job from general SEO and it is a much more winnable one. You are not trying to outrank the whole internet. You are trying to outrank the handful of other businesses doing your work within driving distance, most of which have put very little effort into it.
The work itself is unglamorous. Getting your business information consistent everywhere it appears online, building out pages that match how people actually search, making sure Google can tell which towns you serve, and getting the technical parts right so nothing is quietly blocking you.
We do this as part of a build, and we do it on its own for businesses that already have a site they are happy with.
What that actually involves
Finding what people actually type
Before anything else we work out what your customers really search for, which is often not what you would call it. The gap between industry vocabulary and customer vocabulary is where most local search traffic is lost.
Pages that match those searches
One page per service and, where it makes sense, per town. A person searching for a specific job should land on a page about that job rather than on a general page they have to dig through.
Consistent business information
Your name and details have to match everywhere they appear. Inconsistencies across directories confuse Google and quietly suppress you in local results, and this is one of the most common problems we find.
Technical cleanup
Sitemaps that list pages that actually exist, canonical tags pointing at the live domain, no accidental instructions telling search engines to ignore you. These are boring problems that do enormous damage.
Being usable by AI assistants
A growing share of people now ask ChatGPT or Google's AI summary for a recommendation instead of scrolling results. Those systems favor pages with clear structure, specific detail and plain answers to real questions, which is what we build anyway.
What we will not do
- We do not buy links or use private link networks. It works until it does not, and the recovery is worse than the original problem.
- We do not promise a number one ranking on a specific date. Nobody can promise that honestly, and the people who do are selling something else.
Questions about getting found
- How long before I see anything?
- Google Business Profile changes can show up within days. Ranking movement on the site itself usually starts somewhere between one and three months, and keeps building after that. Anyone telling you it happens in a week is guessing or lying.
- Can you guarantee first place?
- No, and neither can anyone else, because nobody controls Google's results. What we can tell you is that in towns the size of Dunnellon or Ocklawaha the competition is thin enough that a properly built site usually does very well.
- Do you work on sites you did not build?
- Yes. We will look at what you have and tell you honestly whether it is worth improving or whether you would be better off rebuilding. Sometimes the answer really is that the existing site is fine and just needs the search work done.
