Forty two years of experience, and a site that has to feel safe
Apsan Law handles immigration and family law in Newark. For a lot of these visitors, choosing wrongly has consequences far past losing money.

The stakes change the design
Most website advice is written as though the worst outcome of a bad decision is a wasted afternoon. Immigration law is not that. The people arriving on this site are often frightened, frequently dealing with a deadline, and sometimes reading in a second language.
Anything that reads as slick or salesy actively hurts here. So does vagueness, because vagueness is what every predatory operator in this space sounds like.
Clarity as the main design decision
Each area of work got named plainly and given its own explanation. Visas, green cards, deportation defence, naturalization, DACA, and the family law side. A person in trouble should be able to find their own situation by name without knowing the legal term for it.
Forty two years of practice is the single most reassuring fact available, so it is stated early and clearly rather than tucked into a biography further down.
Writing for someone under pressure
Short paragraphs, plain words, no jargon where a normal word exists, and no rhetorical throat clearing before getting to the point. The measure was whether a worried person skimming on a phone could understand what this firm does and whether it could help them.
This is the same discipline that makes a page useful to a search engine, which is not a coincidence. Clear specific writing is what both people and machines can actually use.
